Welcome to Teacher Tuesday! This Tuesday we are featuring 6th grade teacher, Miss Nielsen. She has taught school for 23 years and we are so lucky to have her at Valley View. Here are some fun facts you probably didn't know about her:
Favorite Food: Seafood.
Favorite TV Show: Criminal Minds or CSI.
What do you love most about Valley View: I love the area, the background of the school, and the parent support we have here.
Where are you from originally: Salina.
What grades have you taught: 4th, 5th, and 6th.
Favorite Holiday: The Deer Hunt.
Pets: A Weimaraner hunting dog named Gunner.
Favorite Vacation Spot: Alaska.
Favorite Book: I have many favorites, but Hatchet is a great one.
Favorite music/artist: Country. Shania Twain.
Favorite teaching experience: Seeing the good things, kids that have attended Valley View, accomplish after leaving here. They come back from Junior High and High School and it is exciting to see the good they are doing.
