Today we learn about our Computer Specialist, Mr. Asbury.
Favorite food: French Toast & Ice Cream.
Favorite movie: El Cid, Always, and Ben Hur.
What do you love most about Valley View: The students have good behavior, the teachers are fun to talk with when I'm there, and a very good principal/office/custodian staff. I love my new computer lab (Imac's).
Where are you from originally: Kansas City, Kansas.
What grades have you taught: Third, fourth, and sixth, along with computers for over twenty years.
Favorite holiday: Christmas.
Pets: German Sheppard.
Favorite vacation spot: Estes Park & Ouray, Colorado, and Glacier National Park, Montana.
Favorite book: Book of Mormon.
Favorite music: Celine Dion, Chicago, Christopher Cross and Bread.
Favorite teaching experience: I had two boys in sixth grade that in April of 2009, typed over ninety-six words per minute on laptops.
