Pre-Parade Pops

The big parade is tomorrow! A great way to end Strawberry Days 2010. Watch for the Valley View truck in the parade this year and our mascot cruising along on his four wheeler (Hawks can do more than fly these days). Make these delicious popsicles today and enjoy them tomorrow while walking to the parade.

Triple-Strawberry No Drip Pops

2 cups boiling water

1 pkg. (3 oz) Jello Strawberry Flavor Gelatin

18 fresh strawberries

2/3 cup (2 qt line) Kool-Aid Strawberry Flavored Sugar Sweetened

Soft drink mix or any red flavor

1. Add boiling water to gelatin mix. Stir 2 min. until completely dissolved.

2. Cut strawberries in half. Mash berries and drink mix in large bowl with fork. Stir in gelatin.

3. Pour into 8 (5 oz) paper cups.

4. Cover cups with foil, insert wooden popsiscle stick into center of each cup for handle. Freeze for 2 hours or until firm.
