We celebrated our wonderful Valley View teachers and staff week.
Here are some highlights of a great week:
The planting of an Emerald Maple by the Lisonbee Family in honor of our teachers.
Its official name, The Teacher Tree.
June Rhoades created this awesome bulletin board that parents and students wrote messages of appreciation on to the teachers during the week.
She also gave the teachers surprises in their mailboxes in morning that included bookmarks, these cute candy bar sleeves...

The teachers received much deserved chair massages and manicures during the week as well...
Before the actual planting, the 45 year-old tree stump had to be removed. And thanks to the Lisonbee's and their backhoe skills, the stump of the century was finally pulled out.

After the teachers and staff were treated to yummy breakfast and lunch treats every day provided by Teacher Appreciation Week Coordinator, Rachel Lisonbee, the week came to an end with a live reptile show performed by Scales and Tails for the students while the teachers enjoyed a one hour break. Thank you to our parent volunteers who helped to make this break possible for the teachers. The show was amazing!
I'm not sure who would want to join the PTA after seeing this pictures.
But I think we can now add snake handlers to our resumes!
