It's official! Valley View kicked off the holidays and we have the pictures to prove it. It all started with the Teacher Turkey Bowl before Thanksgiving break in which Miss Champion took first place with her amazing turkey throwing skills...
Mrs. Gagon gave it a try too.
The halls were decorated with Turkey pictures.
And some great messages were written on our bulletin board.
And another Ken Garff bike was given away...
Next it was on to Classic Skate night where families skated (and slipped) the night away.
Friday night brought the Valley View Cinema showing of Elf.
And readying the tree for Christmas lights.
The talking reindeer paid a visit to guests as they arrived to watch the show.
Kids stocked up on concessions.
And families got comfy for a fun flick.
The evening ended with the lighting of the school Christmas tree. A Christmas miracle in and of itself! Thank you to Paul and Inger Phelon who spent most of the day Friday getting the tree ready for its premiere.
The next day was our first ever Christmas Home Tour. We had a great turnout and it was so much fun to see how some of our Valley View families decorate for Christmas. Hopefully, we have started a new tradition! Eryn and Peach from the 6th grade student council helped to greet guests at the door and did an awesome job!
Thank you to everyone who helped make this past week of fun festivities possible.
We hope you and your family have a wonderful Christmas season!
