Hello 2014!
We're ready for ya! But we don't want to forget the fun we had since starting school last August. Here are some Hawk highlights...
We kicked off Fall with our annual Halloween Carnival which was "spooktacular!"Hayrides, a Haunted Hallway, rockets, face painting, inflatable slides and more. It was beautiful weather and a great night for our Valley View families.
We ended the month with another annual event....The Halloween Parade complete with scary, funny, cute and creepy costumes! Even the teachers and staff got in on the fun.
Halloween came to end at Valley View with fun class parties that included games, yummy treats and more costume fun!
November brought our Veteran's Day assembly which included bagpipers, beautiful singing from our students, wonderful tributes and more.
More partying at Classic Skate Night!
Christmas time came quickly and we enjoyed the Kindergarten Snowman Dance, 5th Grade Recorders, a 1st Grade Performance and our awesome Valley View Choir!
Class Christmas parties were a blast as students celebrated the last day of school before the big break!
We ended 2013 with our annual Christmas Tree Lighting. This is such a wonderful tradition. There aren't many schools that have the perfect 48-year old pine tree in front of their school!
We had a wonderful end to 2013 and we're excited for what 2014 will bring!
